Amber Rixon launched her first collection in 2018 at the renowned textile trade show ‘Premiere Vision New York’ and has since created exclusive surface design patterns for international and local fashion brands.

Amber's work offers inspiring, original textile patterns for fashion apparel, specialising in womenswear; focusing on building the emotional connection between fashion brands and their wearer.

Inspired by her natural surroundings in New Zealand, travel, art, history and music, each pattern is created organically through a hand drawn or painted process, then developed digitally into a seamless repeat pattern.

A Bachelor of Design in Textiles and a background in fashion and garment construction provides technical knowledge in the textile and apparel industry which provides an additional source of inspiration to Amber’s work.
