Hello! Im Amber, a surface pattern designer with a love for allover florals, folk-inspired motifs, paisleys, and marbling—blending a touch of nostalgia with a hint of a vintage aesthetic.

I launched my first collection in 2018 at Première Vision New York, introducing my exclusive surface designs to international and local fashion brands.

For the past five years, I’ve been working remotely from New Zealand, creating original textile patterns available for purchase through my online showroom. I also offer a collaborative design service, working closely with clients to bring their vision to life. My designs have been used across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, swimwear, and homeware.

Inspired by my natural surroundings, as well as travel, art, history, and music, each pattern begins organically—hand-drawn or painted—before being developed into a seamless repeat.

With a Bachelor of Design in Textiles and a background in fashion and garment construction, I have a deep understanding of how prints interact with form and movement. This allows me to create patterns that not only flow beautifully on the body but also enhance the final garment.
